Bill Mortimore

Bill formed Merge Healthcare in his basement in Muskego, Wisconsin, in 1987. Over the next 18 years, as CEO and Chairman he lead the growth of this worldwide healthcare IT vendor to a $1 billion market cap on NASDAQ (MRGE). Bill and his Merge colleagues successfully sourced, acquired and integrated seven emerging companies, growing the company to over 600 employees in the US, Canada, Europe and the Far East. He has been a part of seven startups, over a dozen mergers and acquisitions in his career and has served on several public and private boards, including ARI Network Services, MRI Devices, and the Wisconsin Charter School Association. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University, an M.S.E.E. from the University of Minnesota and pursued Doctoral studies in Electrical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.

David Noshay

David was a senior manager at Merge Healthcare for 12 years in strategic business development, marketing, sales, operations and product development. In 2006, he and Bill Mortimore began providing management advice for emerging healthcare IT companies as principals of Healthcare Growth Partners. They later co-founded Keystone Insights. David’s experience also includes the strategy and development of dozens of innovative products at worldwide companies, including Siemens and Konica, as well as providing leadership in several of the Merge Healthcare’s mergers and acquisitions. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University.

Nick Donofrio

Nick spent 13 years at Merge Healthcare spearheading the integration of several key functions across Merge’s business acquisitions, including FDA regulatory compliance. He previously worked 10 years at GE Healthcare in technical product management and marketing. His career has crossed many business areas including product development, program management, market research, business planning, systems engineering, quality systems management, order fulfillment and customer support. He received a B.A. in Physics from Carleton College and an M.S. in Radiologic Science from the University of Washington.

Anton van Kimmenade

Anton joined Merge Healthcare in 1994 when he launched the company’s European presence. He worked for 13 years setting up worldwide service and support capabilities and building a remote, Internet-based service monitoring system, while at the same time leading the Merge service organization and European branch. Prior to Merge he spent seven years with Philips Medical Systems in Europe and in the US in quality assurance and software management. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

Shane Krukowski

Shane co-founded Project Based Learning Systems, LLC, in 2005, launched Project Foundry and, more recently, Our Learning Folio as software-as-a-service solutions. Prior to Keystone’s acquisition of PBLS, Shane, as the company’s managing director, secured angel investment, directed software development, secured $1+ million in SaaS sales, implemented several marketing campaigns, and implemented customer training and support systems. His work with PBLS has earned him a reputation as an expert in secondary education redesign. He received an MBA from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Management Systems from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
